So yesterday I was having a discussion with my family about death. My parents are at that age and that time in their life when it could literally be any day now.
They are getting weaker and weaker and we can tell by their demeanor that we need to cherish them even more now!
For my siblings and I it was easier to grasp the concept of death, however for our kids they had just a little bit harder time trying to deal with the fact that it was inevitable... I wonder if that has anything to do with our age, or just our general outlook on life.
I was exposed to death a lot in my earlier years, losing principals; teachers; family members; after a while I boycotted death/funerals.
I am not the doomsdayer of death, however I think you will have to prepare yourself to handle death because it will happen!
Inspire. Motivate. Enrich. Bless. Cherish. Love.
