We all have stories to be told...
Some stories may be more tragic than others, but we all have a story.
Some stories can make or break us; some stories can propel us to that level.
The stories that we choose to tell can ultimately set us free.
Free from pain, hurt, bondage; from a prison that we created for ourselves.
Choose to set yourself free and tell your story.
Tell your story even if the only person you tell it to is yourself.
Take a pen and paper and start writing your story until you can't write anymore. Get it all out. Cry it all out. Let it all out.
Tomorrow you can start a new day knowing that your story no longer holds you hostage from moving on in life.
That first step allows you to love yourself even more.

If there is one thing that I cannot tolerate is someone that will lie just for the sheer pleasure that it may give them.
Yes, I said pleasure because what other reason would you constantly lie to your loved ones for?
People lie about the dumbest ish that will later surface and still get them in trouble. I don't get it...
I always ask people that say that they care about me to not lie to me because I could easily deal with your truth than I could deal with your lie.
If I do decide to deal with your truth then that's on me...
Try honesty... It works :-)
I knew you once upon a time
You boasted of how much you were mine
You told me things I wanted to hear
You made my day. my night. my year
You took from me but never gave back
You told me that I was the only one
But you lied to me and never came back
Just had this on the brain so I had to write it down to share that pain.
It's not mine, not now anyway, but at one time it took me away.
I've grown a lot and now I'm just chill because he was not the one to win.

I sit here and I can still smell his scent lingering on my body.
The hug that he gave me lasted only a few seconds yet he's been gone for over an hour and I can still smell him on me.
I cherish that moment as I don't know when I will see him again.
But I wait until the next time he will hold me again in his arms... closer~closely!
I pray that it won't be just a fleeting memory next time, but something that I can replay for days at a time until I see him again.
If only I could hold you close to me to envelope my sense of smell in your essence... I would treasure that moment for eternity.

This stemmed from me seeing a coworker that I have not seen in forever. While I went on about my day I continued to smell his cologne on me... I totally enjoy a good smelling man! It's a definite turn on, lol.
This can be read however you want it to read. Enjoy it as much as I did writing it. Smooches ~KLJ~
At what point will you say to yourself that my old habits are no longer working for me?
At what point does your old behaviour become old to you?
At my age, I have realized that things that I did in the past are not things I want to have with me when I try to build a future for myself.
Take a look into your habits that are not bringing you any closer to your goals in life and adjust your actions/reactions accordingly.
We cannot continue to let the things of the past dictate our plans for our future.
Make smarter choices and live life with less regrets...
